“In the Garden” show @ Parsonage Museum

“Early Spring Garden” oil on panel 12″ x 16″

All of my life I’ve been in love with gardens. Growing up in Ocean Beach CA tending the yard was a part of what I did being a kid. Soon I was taking care of my Grandparents and other neighbors yards. My uncle, and artist mentor Allan Rothero made his living as a gardener, and taught me how to draw and paint the intimate landscapes of the garden.

The Parsonage Museum of Lemon Grove is a venue with a great collection of  exhibits, artifacts and history. Helen Ofield & Josie Kane of the LGHS did a super job designing this exhibit.
