Independent bookstores

Our book, Max and the Lowrider Car, is available from the websites of many independent bookstores — but not so many have it in their brick-and-mortar stores yet. To show our appreciation for stores that have put the book on their shelves, I’ll be posting their photos in this blog. So if you like to walk into a bookstore, flip through pages, and choose a book, rather than clicking a button at Amazon or Barnes and Noble online, here are three good places to look in California:
